Qualifications

• 6+ months of direct care experience.
• English reading, writing, speaking proficiency.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Clear background check.
• Availability to work every other weekend and participate in a holiday rotation.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications accurately per protocols.
• Document medication administration and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and feeding.

Resident Assistant

Position Summary

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for both administering medications and assisting residents with daily living activities. You’ll help ensure our residents receive the highest quality care in a respectful and dignified manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with established protocols
• Document medication administration and report any concerns to nursing staff
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and feeding
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment

Qualifications

• 6+ months of prior direct care experience
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs
• Successful completion of a physical exam, drug screening, and annual flu shot
• Clear background check
• Availability to work every other weekend and participate in a holiday rotation
