Description

This position reports directly to the Lead Resident Assistant and/or Program Manager. The Resident Assistant/Driver assists in the daily implementation of basic residential services.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in delivering basic services (shelter, food, hygiene, etc.) to veterans at the facility.
  2. Maintain a harmonious atmosphere by communicating with clinical staff and fostering a therapeutic environment.
  3. Organize and deliver daily client services and support functions.
  4. Handle client mail and assist clients with their living environment, including move-in and move-out processes.
  5. De-escalate verbal and physical altercations and submit Incident Reports as needed.
  6. Address client issues promptly to ensure continuous service delivery.
  7. Maintain supply inventory and proper storage, and assist with facility maintenance and inspections.
  8. Implement toxicology testing and safety/emergency procedures.
  9. Conduct bed checks and room inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  10. Document activities such as bed checks, inspections, incident reports, and client logs.
  11. Manage administrative tasks related to residential services.
  12. Facilitate routine daily living activities for clients.
  13. Follow site work order procedures and drive the company vehicle for transportation and other duties.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with relevant programs or populations preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, meet insurance requirements, and complete driver training.
