Resident Assistant/CNA/NAR, Assisted Living, Care Suites and Memory Care

Walker Methodist Care Suites provides 72 apartments offering expert care and services to residents, including respite and transitional care. We serve individuals requiring higher levels of assisted living, designed to provide around-the-clock care for both short-term rehabilitative stays and long-term residents.

We seek Resident Assistants to deliver hands-on personal care, meeting each resident’s physical health and hygiene needs according to their care plan and under the supervision of a nurse. Responsibilities include medication administration, medication reminders, vital signs monitoring, simple wound care dressing, and catheter care.

Schedules are available and include working every other weekend:

• 8:00 am to 12:00 noon
• 6:30 am to 2:45 pm
• 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• 2:30 pm to 10:45 pm
• 10:30 pm to 6:45 am

Qualifications include:

• One year of nursing assistant care experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment
• Previous experience in medication administration
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic health record systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sensitivity to resident needs and ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to support Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles, Mission, Vision, and Values
