Resident Assistant - Caregiver-3-11 & 11-7 shift

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide quality care and assistance to residents according to residence policies and resident rights.
2. Assist residents in meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
3. Follow each resident's service plan and report any changes in their condition to the Resident Services Director and Wellness Nurse.
4. Respond promptly to resident calls and assist with activities of daily living.
5. Check on residents every two hours, document, and report findings.
6. Encourage and assist residents with activities, meals, and social participation.
7. Assist with cleaning, laundry, and maintaining residents' rooms.
8. Establish good relationships with residents and their families.
9. Follow safety guidelines, proper body mechanics, and OSHA regulations.
10. Respond to emergencies as per residence policies.
11. Respect resident dignity, promote independence, and uphold rights.
12. Perform duties as assigned by supervisors.

Additional Duties

1. Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
2. Communicate effectively with team members and notify supervisors of any concerns or changes in residents' conditions.
3. Report on-the-job injuries and address family concerns appropriately.

Qualifications

• Experience in elder care preferred.

Knowledge Requirements

• Any required resident care training.
