Responsibilities include:

1. Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents.
2. Responding promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
3. Assisting with activities of daily living and instrumental activities.
4. Monitoring and documenting residents' conditions every two hours.
5. Encouraging participation in activities and meals, and assisting as needed.
6. Maintaining cleanliness of residents' rooms and communal areas.
7. Supporting residents' personal laundry and hygiene needs.
8. Building positive relationships with residents and families.
9. Following safety and OSHA regulations, including proper body mechanics and disposal of incontinent products.
10. Promoting resident independence and maintaining their rights and dignity.
11. Carrying out all duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications include:

• Experience in elder care preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• A caring disposition and desire to work with older adults.
• Knowledge of resident care training (if required).
