Ecumen is hiring a Part-time Resident Assistant for the day shift (6:30am - 2:45pm) in Monticello, MN. All shifts include an every-other-weekend rotation.

The role supports daily living activities for residents, with caregiving tasks delegated under the Clinical Director and RN guidance. Pay ranges from $18.82 to $22 per hour, with a benefits package based on regularly scheduled hours, including PTO, EAP, and well-being resources.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director per care plan, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring.
• Assists with medications, treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director per care plan.
• Observes, documents and reports changes in residents' physical, cognitive and emotional condition.
• Promotes independence with residents, offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
• Collaborates with others in a demanding environment and supports all team members as directed by the Clinical Director or RN.
• Completes scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Leads and assists resident activities as assigned.
• Responds to safety hazards, call lights, requests and reassignment of duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

The targeted pay range for this job is $18.82 - $22 per hour.

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Assists with treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director per individualized care plan including:
   • Dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring;
   • Assists with AM and HS cares including oral care as needed;
   • Incontinence care;
   • Assistive devices, glasses and hearing aids;
   • Medication administration as delegated by the RN
2. Assists with medication, treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director per individualized care plan.
3. Observes, documents and reports changes in physical, cognitive and emotional condition of any of the residents.
4. Promotes independence with residents, offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
5. Partners effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment and supports all team members within the community as directed by the Clinical Director or Registered Nurse.
6. Completes scheduled cleaning tasks.
7. Leads and assists resident activities as assigned.
8. Responds appropriately to all safety hazards, call lights, requests and reassignment of duties.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous experience with working with seniors
• Certified Nursing Assistant CNA and/or Home Health Aide
