Resident Assistant Job Details:
- Hours - 2 pm to 10 pm
- Pay Range - $17 to $25 per hour
- Location - Amira Choice Bloomington

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. They must communicate effectively with residents, families, and notify the case manager of any changes or concerns. The Resident Assistant also assists in the dining room and participates in activities and outings.
- Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated in the service agreement
- Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence
- Provide physical and emotional support to residents
- Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse as per the resident's service agreement
- Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition to the case manager
- Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as needed
- Complete all required documentation daily, including service schedules, flow sheets, and communication logs
- Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living (preferred)
- Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid, or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
- Ability to make responsible decisions and act in the best interests of residents
