Great Lakes Management Co. in Bloomington, MN is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a long-term care setting.

The role requires six months in long-term care or assisted living, with CNA/HHA certification preferred. You will assist with ADLs, communicate with families, and document routine care while collaborating with the care team. This on-site position offers shift differentials and 401(k) matching.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s :

Qualifications :

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.
