Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking caring Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living activities, under the supervision of nursing staff. You will join a team dedicated to person-centered care and helping residents maintain independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful interactions and collaboration across home health, hospice, and community settings. Competitive starting pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing with care and support
• Provide supervision or non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate and coordinate resident needs with the team
• Work under the nurse in charge for supervision and direction
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary
• Experience in a dementia or memory care setting

We are looking for caring and compassionate Resident Assistants to join our team. In this position, you will help our residents with their Activities of Daily Living by working together with other Partners to enhance the quality of life of those we are here to serve.

Job Type: 1st and 2nd shifts

Pay: Starting from $15.00 (Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.
• Experience in a dementia or memory care setting.
