Remember Me Senior Care in Cleveland, TN is looking for a dedicated Resident Assistant who will provide daily nursing care and engage with residents requiring long-term care. You'll play a key role in their daily activities and promote a compassionate environment.

Supervisor: Director or Health & Wellness
PTO Classification: Full-Time
Provides routine daily nursing care and services that support the care delivered to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care, in accordance with the established nursing care procedures and as directed by the supervisor. An active approach to Resident care will be taken and not just passive maintenance. RAs will be deeply involved in resident activities and programming and must understand and have a desire to continue to grow in dementia-specific care.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to touch, handle, and feel, and required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift and transfer residents, using proper body mechanics as needed.

Works in well-lit/ventilated areas. May be exposed to small resident pets. Subject to falls, burns from equipment, infectious diseases, substances, odors, etc. throughout the workday. Subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents/patients, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
