Location: Wood Glen Court, an Assisted Living senior community

Shifts Available: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and PRN shifts

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, encouraging independence.
• Serve meals, assist in meal prep, and promote proper nutrition and hydration.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities to encourage socialization.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and resident requests.
• Know each resident’s location, remind them to sign out, and report if a resident cannot be located.
• Foster a cooperative team environment.
• Attend all required training sessions.
• Be an active member of the emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and personal hygiene.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
