Position: Resident Assistant

As a Resident Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and attention. If you are a compassionate and dedicated professional with a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence
  • Provide residents with both physical and emotional support
  • Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
  • Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager
  • Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate
  • Complete all required documentation daily, including service schedules, flow sheets, and communication books
Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in long-term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
  • Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
  • Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the best interests of residents
