Amira Choice of Roseville on lexington avenue is a beautiful, well-designed senior living community that offers the highest level of distinction for our residents. We offer 80 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our community is adjacent to both Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN and is near public transportation making it a convenient location for our employees. We boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.

We are looking for a Resident Assistant whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living/memory care residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our busy senior living in Roseville, MN on Lexington Ave. In the position one will be provided on the job medication passing training and be expected to pass medications.

This caregiver schedule includes;

  • 48 hours per two weeks
  • evening shift
  • every other weekend (saturday/sunday) rotation and rotating holiday

Responsibilites:

  • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
  • Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required Skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
  • Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
  • CNA certificated if under 18
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
  • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
