Job summary

Optalis Healthcare (Health & Rehabilitation Centers) in Circleville, OH seeks a Resident Assistant to provide non-clinical support to residents, assisting with daily living tasks, responding to needs, and helping maintain a homelike environment.

You will transport, pass meals, assist with linens, respond to call lights, and support infection control, with emphasis on compassion, dignity, and safety. Must be at least 16 and able to read/write English; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Standing/walking for 6--7 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and push carts and wheelchairs (80--300 lbs with assistance).
• Exposure to resident care environment and possible challenging behaviors.
