The Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) is seeking a DJS Residential Advisor Lead to supervise and guide youth in a secure facility. This role trains and reviews lower-level staff, models appropriate behavior, and supports daily living skills for residents.

Candidate must hold a current MCTC certification, meet age and background check requirements, and complete mandated training as part of a renewed appointment process.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1.5 years of experience supervising or guiding youth in juvenile facilities or community programs.
• Must possess and maintain MCTC certification on an annual basis.

Responsabilidades

• Provide lead supervision and guidance to youth in a DJS facility.
• Train, assign, and review the work of lower-level Resident Advisors.
• Promote appropriate behaviors and life skills among residents.
