Masonicare at Greenridge Place in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a Per Diem Recreation Aide to develop and implement a variety of recreation programs for residents who are socially, physically and cognitively stimulated.

Responsibilities include planning activities for small groups and events, encouraging resident participation, escorting residents when needed, and maintaining participation logs. Evening or weekend hours may be required to support resident needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to push/pull wheelchairs and assist with decorations.
• Evening and weekend hours possible.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement activity plans for residents, in small groups, for special events and entertainment.
• Encourage resident participation and provide escort if necessary; maintain participation logs.
• Attend meetings as required; participate in educational programs and in-services as mandated.
• Evening and weekend hours possible.
• Plan and/or accompany residents on out trips.
• Follow universal precautions and MSDS guidelines.
• Review evaluation on new residents completed by Manager Recreation.
