Homeview Health and Rehabilitation in Franklin, IN seeks an Activities Driver to transport residents to activities and appointments, and to perform related duties in the facility van. The role emphasizes safety, patient care, and teamwork with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading residents, securing seating, and ensuring seat belts are used at all times. You will document transports, maintain vehicle safety, and assist as needed in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Over 21 with 3+ years driving experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Basic first aid training
• Ability to follow instructions and work with residents
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality awareness

Responsibilities

• Provide resident transportation to activities and appointments
• Load/unload residents and secure them safely
• Ensure seat belts are worn and assist as needed
• Coordinate with nursing staff for medically complex residents
• Document transports and report to nurse on return
• Call 911 if medical attention is required
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
