PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan, organize, and implement engaging activities that address the physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our patients and residents. You will help design monthly recreation therapy services and support care plans with teammates.

Your role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to positively interact with patients, families, and staff while maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Effective communicator with excellent verbal/written skills.
• Well-developed organizational abilities and record keeping skills.
• Able to positively engage with personnel, residents/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities meeting physical, creative, cognitive, social and spiritual needs of patients/residents.
• Document attendance and participation levels in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
