Job summary

River Terrace Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role with a schedule of weekdays from 2pm to 7pm and alternating weekends from 8am to 5pm. Daily pay is available, and the rate is $17 an hour.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in Activities Department preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' daily experiences.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through activities.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational and community-based programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care goals.
