Job summary

Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role in Beverly, MA. The position runs 10:00 am–6:00 pm, every other weekend, with daily pay available.

The ideal candidate will support residents through engaging activities and programs, fostering social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in an activities department or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department, healthcare setting, or related environment preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
• Document resident participation in activities and programs.
• Promote residents' well-being through meaningful activities and interactions.
• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing recreational and social programs.
