The Brentwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our full-time team in Danvers, MA. The role supports resident well-being through engaging programs and social activities designed to enrich daily life.

Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $21.50 per hour, with daily pay options available. Key duties include planning and facilitating activities, documenting participation, and collaborating with care teams to meet resident goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Document participation and engagement in activities and programs.
• Promote residents' well being through meaningful activities and interactions.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational and community programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests and abilities.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care goals.
• Observe and report changes in mood or participation to team members.
• Assist with outreach and marketing events showcasing resident-centered care.
• Complete audits, reports, and program records.
• Prepare, decorate, set up, and break down activities and events.
• Escort and transport residents to activities as needed.
• Support a culture of Passion, Respect, and Excellence through compassionate service.
