Job summary

Clarity Eye Center is seeking a residency-trained optometrist to practice at the highest level of medical optometry, managing complex ocular disease and co-managing surgical patients with our ophthalmic surgeons. You will perform comprehensive medical eye examinations, develop treatment plans, and educate patients while collaborating with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • OD degree and Texas license/eligibility required.
  • Residency training strongly preferred for clinical growth.
  • Passion for medical optometry and ocular disease.
  • Strong diagnostic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Medical management of ocular diseases including glaucoma and corneal conditions.
  • Pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract and other procedures.
  • Diagnose and manage complex eye diseases.
  • Collaborate with surgeons on patient care and treatment plans.
  • Provide comprehensive medical eye examinations and patient education.

  • Medical management of glaucoma, dry eye, corneal disease, retinal conditions, and other ocular pathology

  • Collaborating with surgeons on patient care and treatment plans

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • Active Texas Optometry license (or eligibility)
