Job summary

Ferguson-Florissant School District in Missouri is participating in Teach St. Louis' Residency program for the 2026-2027 school year.

Resident Teachers will complete an apprenticeship year earning $24,000 with full health benefits and PTO, co-teaching with an experienced mentor, and pursuing Missouri licensure and a Master’s degree from Washington University. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed by July 2026 in any field.
• GPA 2.50 or higher.
• Commitment to four years at FFSD with annual renewal evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Complete a rigorous full-year classroom apprenticeship, co-teaching Monday–Thursday with an experienced mentor at a FFSD training site school.
• On Fridays and one weekday evening, participate in aligned graduate-level coursework with Teach St. Louis.
• Earn initial teacher certification in Missouri and a Master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
• Receive ongoing instructional coaching during the first two years in the program.
• Commit to lead-teach in a FFSD school for 3 years after the apprenticeship year.
