Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Residency Program Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accredited residency training program under the supervision of the DGME and PD. The role acts as a central liaison among physicians, residents, students, departments, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth program function.

The position involves coordinating didactic activities, resident orientation, exams, policy development, and accreditation activities while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in office or program management.
• Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with business partners, providers, and leaders.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience training Associates on processes and procedures.
• Ability to make decisions independently or escalate issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational activities and ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.
• Liaise between residents, departments, and administration.
• Oversee resident orientation and rotations scheduling.
• Support DGME, PD and core faculty on program activities and issues.
• Maintain databases and records for residents and faculty.
