Modern Family Law (MFL) invites 3Ls and recent graduates sitting for the July 2027 Bar exam to participate in MFL Academy's Residency Program in Georgia (Atlanta or Savannah). The role is hybrid and aims to train residents in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy with mentorship from MFL Learning & Development.

Successful residents may transition to Associate Attorney positions upon passing the Bar, with competitive salaries and clear advancement paths.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Register for the upcoming July Bar exam.
• Attain a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar.
• Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.
• Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
• Mock Trial experience is a plus.
• Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.

Responsibilities

• Join MFL Academy's Residency Program after Bar with training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy.
• Mentorship from the Learning & Development department and legal teams to transition to an Associate Attorney role after passing the Bar.
• Direct client contact and case management on family law matters.
• Develop litigation skills as first chair early in your career.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology to manage caseload and communication.
