CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services) in New Rochelle, NY, is seeking a Residence Manager to lead the 24/7 residential program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide leadership, ensure quality care, and foster a safe, person-centered environment.

Responsibilities include supervising DSPs and supervisors, leading life plan meetings, accompanying residents to medical appointments, supporting daily living skills and community integration,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications.

Mansioni

• Oversee the daily operations of the residence, ensuring compliance with CMCS and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Assistant Managers, and Shift Supervisors.
• Lead person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of Life Plans and Staff Action Plans.
• Accompany residents to medical appointments and ensure follow-up on care recommendations.
• Ensure residents receive support with daily living skills, community integration, and recreational activities.
• Maintain 24/7 staffing coverage, including on-call responsibilities and emergency response.
• Conduct regular staff meetings, shift observations, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor health and safety protocols, including medication administration and emergency drills.
• Manage household budgets, resident funds, and staff payroll documentation.
• Communicate regularly with families, care coordinators, and day programs.
