Alabama State University invites applications for the Residence Hall Coordinator II position. This role focuses on implementing residence life programs and student engagement, overseeing student staff and ensuring compliance with housing regulations, while offering support during emergencies. Alabama State University, Student Affairs/Housing and Residential Life, invites applications for the position of Residence Hall Coordinator II. The Residence Hall Coordinator II will assist in implementing residence life programs that promote community development and student engagement in the residence halls. The Residence Hall Coordinator II will focus their position on student staff supervision and development, making recommendations for student discipline to Judicial Affairs, program development, property management and on call response to a variety of situations.
Duties and Responsibilities
A Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience working with college students in an academic or social services setting are required. Must be available for duty and rotating on-call service during weekends, alternative shift, various day of the week and some holidays. Much of the work will be done within a generally accessible, safe, indooe environment and will occasionally be required to move furniture, equipment or participate in facility operations that require a basic level of physical strength, climb up or down stairs, operate a personal computer and associated equipment.
