Legend Senior Living in Oklahoma City seeks a Residence Director to lead day-to-day operations of an assigned residence, including nursing, dining, maintenance, and life enrichment. You will guide departmental function, drive financial performance, and ensure holistic care for residents while upholding quality standards.

You will manage staff, budgets, safety programs, move-ins and care plans, and partner with families.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in an operations leadership role.
• Administrator license or applicable state certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of nursing, dining, maintenance, life enrichment, and sales departments.
• Recruit, train, recognize and coach staff; manage budgets and compliance with state requirements.
• Maintain programs for quality, safety, and community outreach.
• Support move-ins, care plans, and special events; assist leaders across departments.
• Foster a positive work and living environment; handle after-hours coverage as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS--

We are looking for an outstanding individual to lead overall community management as the Residence Director (Executive Director, Administrator). You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned residence, including departmental function, operational goals and financial performance. You will make a difference in the lives of families by ensuring their loved one receives excellent holistic care.

Responsibilities--

• Overseeing and supervising the operations of all departments (nursing, dining, maintenance, life enrichment, sales) including recruiting, staffing, training, recognition and coaching
• Managing the community’s budget, expense management and compliance with state requirements
• Maintaining programs such as quality management, safety management and community outreach
• Assisting department leaders with move-ins, care plans, competitor analysis and special events
• Promoting a positive work and living environment by resolving concerns in a professional manner
• Fulfilling other duties as needed, such as Manager-On-Duty on a rotating basis, or being available after hours to ensure the proper running of the residence
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
