Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Business Administration, IT, Operations, Economics, or related fields.
  • Solar Energy experience a plus.
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to write queries.

Job Summary:

As a Residential Solar Incentives & Operations Analyst, you are a member of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses. A Residential Solar Incentives & Operations Analyst is responsible for a variety of analytical and operational tasks related to filing, tracking, and reporting on government and state incentives for residential solar projects. This role involves both complex analytical tasks as well as a focus on processing incentive applications to position IGS Solar to scale the business quickly and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process Solar Incentive Applications

    • Review and process state and federal solar incentive applications in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Ensure compliance with program rules and requirements during the application process.

    • Provide feedback and action items to leadership and/or internal and external partners when necessary to stay on track.

  • Metric tracking and reporting

    • Develop and maintain tracking for key metrics related to solar incentives and project performance.

    • Publish regular reports to update key stakeholders on the status of incentive applications.

    • Monitor and analyze incentive revenue received compared to projected.

    • Identify and investigate discrepancies, implementing process changes as needed.

  • Solar Incentive Program Expertise

    • Become an expert on various state and federal incentive programs staying informed about program changes, process updates, and new opportunities.

    • Review program documentation to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations governing solar incentives.

    • Conduct research into new state and federal incentive programs to support business expansion into new markets.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to track incentive transactions.

    • Collaborate with Operations and IT to integrate incentive requirements into existing and new project workflows.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Ability to create and modify user guides, job aids and documentation for training purposes

  • Ability to review and audit completed work for accuracy, make corrections when necessary, and timely report status to management

  • Demonstrates a tenacious drive for results, efficiency, and embraces the value of Continuous Improvement.

  • Accountable for becoming a trusted team member by accomplishing team goals, consistently meeting accuracy and Service Level Agreement targets as well as financial targets.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills (modeling, Vlookups, Nested If-Then statements, Boolean logic, etc.)

  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to process and technology changes.

  • Willingness to learn and develop new tools and better ways of doing business.

  • Ability to master a variety web-based applications and tools used to manage the business

  • Exceptional organizational skills, basic document management skills, technologically savvy, acute attention to detail, and most importantly a passion for the rigor required launching a new business

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong analytical skills, results oriented

  • Able to adapt, grow and thrive in periods of uncertainty in an ever-changing work environment

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Business Administration, IT, Operations, Economics, or other applicable fields

  • Bachelors Degree in related fields or equivalent working experience

  • Solar Energy experience a plus

  • Advanced skills in all MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint)

  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to write queries and manipulate data.

Work Authorization:Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position.

Salary Range:

$48,620.00 - $77,790.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.

This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
