Job Summary

The RESET Program is an in-house alternative education initiative designed to support high school students

who struggle with attendance, motivation, timely class attendance, and credit attainment. The RESET Program

Teacher will serve as the primary instructor and program manager, providing both academic and social-emotional

support to students within a structured and supportive environment. The teacher will oversee a blended learning

model that integrates an online curriculum with direct instruction in executive functioning, social-emotional awareness,

motivation, and career readiness.

Qualifications

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements
  • Experience working with at-risk or alternative education populations
  • Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and maintain high expectations
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms (e.g., Edgenuity, Subject.com etc.)
  • Experience in SEL, trauma-informed practices, or executive functioning instruction is strongly preferred

Working Conditions: 10 month; 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
