The City of Aurora seeks a Reservoir Ranger to support PROS operations across parks and open spaces. You will help ensure safety, protect natural resources, and engage with community members at facilities and during events.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, patrolling assets, handling cash-related tasks, and coordinating with Emergency Response teams. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, security, natural resources, recreation, wildlife, EMS or criminal justice.
• Valid motor vehicle license required.
• Preferred: fluent English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provides support for operations including opening/closing facilities, securing buildings, and public safety and resource protection.
• Inspects boats per Colorado Parks and Wildlife ANS standards.
• Enforces city rules and regulations through information, education, or summonses.
• Patrols and provides security for city assets.
• Responds to emergencies and performs rescue operations.
• Provides customer service and communicates effectively with the public and city personnel.
