Job summary

Intertek seeks a Reservoir Fluids Program Manager to lead PVT and reservoir fluid characterization initiatives at the Westport office in Houston, TX. You will oversee sample intake, data quality, and reporting, providing insights for reservoir development and production optimization.

You will guide technical teams, liaise with reservoir engineers and asset teams, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement in laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in PVT analysis, reservoir fluid characterization, reservoir engineering, production chemistry, or related disciplines.
• Experience managing technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with EOS development, fluid property modeling, and reservoir fluid simulation.
• Knowledge of flow assurance challenges (hydrates, wax, asphaltenes).
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for reservoir fluids sampling/testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple PVT and reservoir fluid characterization projects from sample receipt to final reporting.
• Provide technical oversight for PVT studies and EOS modeling to support reservoir simulation.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and adherence to HSE policies in laboratory operations.
• Communicate project status and technical findings to clients and asset teams.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, scientists, and technicians.
