Permian Resources Corporation is seeking a Reservoir Engineering Technician with strong analytical capability and data management skills to support enterprise data systems, budgeting cycles, reporting, and development planning.

You will bridge technical data systems with corporate planning, build unified datasets, and help automate planning workflows using tools like Power BI, SQL, and Databricks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years oil and gas industry experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on data analytics and reservoir engineering support.
• Strong analytical and data management skills with the ability to interpret real-time and historical datasets to inform decisions.
• Experience with Power BI, Spotfire, SQL or similar data analysis and framework tools.
• Strong data management, analytics, and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between technical data systems and corporate planning processes, ensuring data accuracy and analytical rigor.
• Integrate data from multiple internal systems to produce unified datasets for planning, engineering, and analytics.
• Support corporate planning cycles including budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance reviews, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare deliverables for senior leadership including dashboards, variance analysis, and development outlooks.
• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and implement improvements in data workflows.
• Automate recurring planning workflows to improve speed and consistency.
• Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
