Job summary

The Reservations Manager at Highgate Hotels’ Row NYC in Times Square will maximize room revenue by actively managing inventory and coordinating the Reservations Department's daily activities. Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree; or a 2-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or at least two to three years of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Proficiency in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Flexibility and long hours are often required.

Responsibilities

• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily and monitoring selling status of house.
• Attend daily and weekly Revenue Strategy meetings and follow the Revenue Strategy SOP.
• Be completely competent in all PMS functions used by Reservations and communicate hotel information to callers.
• Monitor competitors for occupancy and rate and recommend changes based on findings.
