Job description

Job Summary

Connections is the branded term for the Wells Fargo corporate conference centers within their large administrative buildings. The Connections team manages collaborative, meeting, and event space in 12 markets across the United States. Our customers are Wells Fargo Employees, contract staff, and nonprofit organizations.

This role may be based at one of our offices in Chandler AZ, Irving TX, San Antonio TX, Des Moines IA, or Minneapolis MN.

Reservationist Responsibilities:
  • Knowledgeable on all Connections site information; able to answer questions and/or research information regarding specific Connections locations.
  • Respond to and process all incoming event requests and emails.
  • Answer calls on the inbound line.
  • Handle meeting room bookings, utilizing reservation system, and focus on strategic assignment of meeting space to maximize utilization.
  • Send initial confirmations to customers to confirm basic meeting details.
  • Assist customers with the reservation process, including how to book space, reservation windows, and access resources.
  • Identify escalation points for reservations, especially for C-Suite, Multi-City, or large events.
  • Modify reservations as needed/requested.
  • Process cancellations promptly.
  • Deliver consistent customer interactions via email, messaging, and phone, using standardized templates and workflows.
  • Provide outstanding customer service following Platinum Service Standards.
  • Assist in person at the Connections center with room setup, catering, and customer communication as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to remain mobile and/or at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with reservation software programs.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual/technical equipment, including Zoom, Teams, Skype.
  • Background in communications, event planning, or hospitality.
