The Reservations & Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the reservations and revenue department to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role involves managing the reservations team, optimizing room inventory, and ensuring guest satisfaction through accurate and timely booking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Reservations Team: Lead, train, and supervise the reservations staff to ensure high performance and adherence to Hyatt's standards.
  • Optimize Room Inventory: Monitor room availability and rates, ensuring optimal occupancy and revenue management.
  • Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to reservations, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on reservation trends, occupancy rates, and revenue to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Revenue to align strategies and optimize revenue.
  • System Implementation: Implement and manage new systems, such as Revinate, to enhance the efficiency of the reservations department.
  • Group Business Management: Focus on group business by uploading the Group Daily Room Sales (GDRS) and managing all aspects of group reservations from pre-arrival to on-property, including group billing.
  • Technology Management: Utilize Hyatt's reservation systems and software to manage bookings and maintain accurate records.
  • Compliance: Ensure all reservations processes comply with Hyatt's policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
