Job summary

OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a Reservations Agent to create, modify, and cancel guest reservations, send confirmations, and respond to guest inquiries. You will handle group, travel agent, corporate, and internet bookings, including rooming lists and routine payments.

The role requires a High School diploma (college degree preferred) and strong English communication.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous reservations experience is beneficial; preferably in a hotel/resort.
  • Fluent in English; able to speak, read, and write.
  • Excellent communication skills for phone or in-person interactions.
  • Customer-centric attitude.
  • Proficient with resort PMS to manage reservations.

Responsibilities

  • Answer guest questions and offer information and assistance.
  • Answer telephones according to standard.
  • Communicate with other departments to fulfill guest needs.
  • Maintain work area neat and organized.
  • Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Update information in computer systems (e.g., post charges).
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross training.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Follow checklist for duties and timelines.

About The Role

The Reservations Agent is responsible for creating, modifying, and canceling guest reservations. Agents are required to send out confirmation emails, answer guest questions, resolve guest concerns, and access guest's requests. This individual must also process group, travel agent, company, internet and FIT reservations, including processing rooming lists and routing payments properly.

  • Answer telephones according to Pyramid Global Hospitality standard.

  • Communicate with other departments to fulfill guest needs.

  • Maintain work area neat and organized.

  • Report all unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.

  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
