As a Reservation Sales Agent at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing an unparalleled booking experience. You will handle reservation inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency while delivering a high level of personalized service. Your role will directly contribute to the resort’s commitment to excellence by ensuring a seamless and luxurious guest experience from the very first interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with reservations via phone, email, chat and online platforms, ensuring a warm and professional experience.
- Uphold Forbes and brand service standards, delivering an exceptional and anticipatory guest experience.
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to promote the resort’s accommodations, amenities, and special packages.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the resort’s offerings, room types, promotions, and policies to provide accurate recommendations tailored to guest needs.
- Accurately process reservations in the property management system (PMS), ensuring all guest preferences, special requests, and VIP statuses are recorded.
- Confirm reservation details, payment methods, and policies, and communicate any necessary follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and discretion, offering swift resolutions while maintaining the highest level of hospitality.
- Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and special requests to proactively address guest expectations.
- Assist in tracking reservation trends, occupancy forecasts, and sales performance metrics to support revenue optimization strategies.
- Maintain compliance with data security policies, including handling guest information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 2+ years hospitality industry experience in a luxury brand hotel/resort preferred.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, reservations, or sales is preferred.
- Display effective computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel). Revinate certification, applications, and software knowledge is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to persuade and upsell while maintaining a guest-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
