Description

Downright Austin, A Renaissance Hotel, is seeking a Reservations Agent to oversee third party reservation requests, guest appreciation programs, and guest service via digital applications/systems in a fast-paced and upbeat hotel environment. This role is responsible for managing daily reservation requests, recognition of guest loyalty members via appreciation programs and delivering exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for teamwork and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily reservation requests from all sources, especially third party agencies.
  • Actively assist with guest appreciation programs.
  • Partner with hotel leadership teams, Revenue Management, Sales, and Front Office to ensure accurate and efficient reservations processes.
  • Create and distribute weekly performance updates of daily and future occupancy and VIP guest arrivals.
  • Manage guest inquiries via digital applications/systems.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Front Desk and/or Reservations.
  • Proficiency in Lightspeed and/or other Marriott systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Service mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
