Join our Team! The laboratory of Mark Hatley seeks a Research Technologist to assist the principal investigator with the collection and analysis for research projects in an entry-level capacity. The individual with conduct specific projects with guidance and maintain efficient laboratory operations. The individual will perform duties in order to meet the goals and objectives of the laboratory. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and animal models preferred. The lab leverages genetically engineered mouse models, patient-derived xenografts, human and mouse tumor and primary cell lines as well as induced pluripotent stem cells as model systems to interrogate the underlying pathobiology of pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma. The Hatley lab is a very collaborative, interactive environment focused on scientific and career development of trainees. The lab supports a healthy work/life balance and diversity with a focus on career development. Four former postdocs are now tenure track Assistant Professors at academic institutions. Dr. Hatley was the 2019 mentor of the year at St. Jude. Successful applicants should have strong organizational and communication skills with drive and dedication to participate as a member of our team.

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $24.00 - $42.00 per hour for the role of Researcher- Hatley's Lab.
