Job summary

University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a Research Technologist II to assist with the regular functioning of a research laboratory in the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence. You will conduct experiments essential to current and future projects and discuss findings to support successful completion.

Responsibilities include data analysis, recordkeeping, and coordinating activities with students, fellows, and postdocs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a research laboratory setting.
• Experience with BMT/Cellular therapy experiments and bone marrow transplant research is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook for data recording and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the regular functioning of a research laboratory.
• Discuss findings and provide suggestions for project completion.
• Coordinate activities with students, fellows and postdoctoral researchers.
• Ensure proper organization of research supplies and space.
