Job summary

Penn State University is seeking a Bio/Chemistry professional for a one-year term position in Center County, PA. The role focuses on expressing proteins and protein complexes in E. coli, purifying them, and analyzing protein/DNA complexes using various assays.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in biological science, chemistry or physics.

This is a term position funded for one year from date of hire with the possibility of refunding.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $36,888.00 - $53,532.00.
