Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a Research Technician III to join the Roizen Lab. You will perform research protocols and manage data under supervision from senior scientists, contributing to pediatric endocrinology projects.

This role requires hands-on lab experience, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to interpret experiments. CHOP emphasizes collaboration, rigorous science, and professional growth in a diverse team.

Formación

• At least two years of related classroom or lab experience required.
• At least three years of related classroom experience or lab experience preferred.
• Experience with lab procedures and data analysis is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Performs research procedures on experimental samples with minimal supervision.
• Formulates and performs complex lab experiments and analyzes/reports the data.
• Performs tasks that require knowledge of advanced techniques and lab equipment.
• Performs advanced calculations and maintains logs and lab notebooks.
• Assists with planning specific research protocols and procedures.
• Assists in development and troubleshooting of new techniques and ideas.
• May be required to modify scientific methods and protocols with PI input.
• Checks others' results for completeness and accuracy.
• May train and mentor new staff.
• May assist in preparing grants, journal articles, posters and presentations.
• Maintains office, lab area, reagents, supplies and equipment.
