Job Title: Research Technician II - San Antonio Texas

Division: CHRISTUS Children's Hospital - San Antonio

Work Arrangement: Onsite only

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary Range: $35,591 - $41,872

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

Baylor College of Medicine-CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio is seeking a highly motivated and competent professional to serve as a Research Technician with primary responsibilities for providing support within the department of pediatrics. The technician will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, be a great team player, and have strong and proven organizational skills.

Job Duties
  • Sets up 3-D printer including learning software.
  • Performs 3-D printer clean ups.
  • Collaborates with 3-D medical director to help set up cardiac medical modeling.
  • Collaborates with medical director to help set up 3-D printing for departments like orthopedics, ENT, Orofaciomaxial surgery and others.
  • Assists with research and manuscripts preparations.
  • Assists in clinical data collections as needed for research.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in basic science or a related field.
  • Experience in research is desirable.
