Our research investigates hereditary angioedema (HAE), a rare genetic disorder characterized by recurrent and unpredictable yet life-threatening episodes of tissue swelling. We aim to explore the genomic associations with clinical variability of HAE and to identify potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of angioedema of unknown origin. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. We offer opportunities for presentations and drafting abstracts or manuscripts to aid in career development. The research environment is highly collaborative, intellectually stimulating, and enjoyable.
Assists with the technical aspects of studies and experiments, including documentation and preparation of materials.
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
