Position Highlights

The Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) at the University of Arizona features the Community, Environment and Policy Department, which focuses on community health, environmental exposures, and health policy. MEZCOPH invites applicants to apply to join our team as a Research Technician I. The purpose of this position is to catalogue the Alaskan fish collection held in the University of Arizona's ichthyology museum to improve its utility for researchers.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Replenish ethanol to maintain sample integrity.
  • Label specimen jars and boxes.
  • Organize samples by collection location.
  • Catalogue fish specimens in an Excel database.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Background knowledge in ichthyology and curation of biological specimens.
