Job description

Research Technician I - Dr. Sydney Cash Lab

Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.

The laboratory of Sydney Cash MD, PhD employs invasive and non-invasive measures of brain activity (ECoG/sEEG/iEEG, MEG, EEG, fMRI) and structure (MRI) to obtain a holistic view of the brain. We are using these techniques to explore the role of different cortical and subcortical structures in normal function as well as in pathology such as epilepsy, with an eye toward developing neurotechnologies and brain-computer interfaces to improve patient health. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, and talented individual to assist in data acquisition from patients enrolled in our studies, as well as data organization and analysis. This project is expected to last two years, with ongoing engagement encouraged throughout its lifecycle.
