Position Summary

The Paz Lab seeks a Research Technician. The successful candidate will join our team studying medically relevant transport proteins.

We are looking for a motivated applicant who focuses on the smallest details while still keeps the big picture in mind. The technician will be performing experiments related to membrane protein such as bacterial and cell culture, protein purification, biochemical characterization, as well as support general lab operation.

Duties include:

Conduct experimental research on medically relevant membrane transport proteins
Prepare and maintain bacterial cultures for protein expression
Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and proper handling of biological materials
Collaborate with team members while maintaining attention to detail and contributing to overall research goals.
