Saint Anselm College's Psychology Department is seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician for the 2026-2027 academic year (20-25 hours/week, 32 weeks). The role involves maintaining a human subject pool, developing lab modules, and managing lab hardware/software for psychophysiological and cognitive research.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, be computer-literate, and know SPSS/JASP/SAS and survey tools (Qualtrics/Google Forms).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be computer-literate and have a working knowledge of a statistical software such as SPSS, JASP, SAS, as well as creating surveys such as using Qualtrics or Google forms.
  • Successful applicants will have additional experience or willingness to learn Unreal, Unity Engines, or managing developer identities in game design programs.
  • A transcript indicating completion of the undergraduate degree will also be required.

Job description

The Psychology Department at Saint Anselm College seeks a laboratory technician to fill a part-time position for the 2026-2027 academic year (20-25 hours per week/32 weeks per year) to assist in the implementation and maintenance of research labs. Duties will include:
