Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Research Technician Associate to support SHARED Experiences Lab under Dr. Courtney Polenick in Psychiatry.

The role involves assisting with neuropsychological testing, participant check-ins, data transcription, and literature searches to advance aging and caregiving research. Under supervision, you will help prepare IRB documents, manage study materials, and contribute to manuscripts and conference presentations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant research support experience.
• Strong organizational and writing/interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to travel within Michigan and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score standardized neuropsychological tests under supervision.
• Complete participant check-in calls and transcribe interview data.
• Assist in preparing IRB applications and progress reports.
• Conduct literature searches and help prepare manuscripts or proposals.
• Coordinate protocol visits and manage study supplies and records.
